Weekly Roundup — Jan. 7, 2019

This week Seward is meeting central, starting with a Seward State Parks Citizens Advisory Board meeting on Tuesday.

The board will meet Jan. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the AVTEC Culinary Academy building on the third floor. The public is always welcome to attend, but for those who want to be more involved, the the board is current accepting applications for board members. On Wednesday night, Sustainable Seward is holding their monthly meeting at the Seward Community Library & Museum from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The group, now in its second year works to raise awareness and implement solutions for waste reduction and recycling in the area.

Friday afternoon, Seward City Council is back in the chambers this year for a work session to review the Jan. 14 council agenda packet. The council will meet from 12 to 2 p.m.

Friday night from 6 to 9 p.m., the Seward Price Alliance will hold their second community meeting at The Breeze Inn. The meeting is focused on organization, committees and next steps.
