Seward skiers make trek for Tour of Tsalteshi

Seward skiers travelled to the other side of the peninsula and left their mark last Sunday in the second Tour of Tsalteshi cross country ski race.

Despite the wet, soft conditions set by 24 hours of snow and rain before the race, over 100 registrants got onto the snow covered ski trails, with 11 making the trek from Seward. The race offered several race types, including a 40-kilometer freestyle, a 20-kilometer freestyle or a 20-kilometer classic.
